Martin is a Slovak statutory auditor and also holds a DipIFR license from the internationally recognized auditing and accounting institution ACCA.
He graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of Business Management. Since 2005, he has been working in the field of auditing, specializing in audits of individual financial statements prepared according to Slovak and international accounting standards, forensic auditing, due diligence, economic, and accounting consulting. He provides services for the first-level verification of funds utilization from European Union sources (e.g., The Seventh Framework Programme, Horizon2020, Horizon Europe, Tempus, etc.). He also has experience in examining fund utilization for municipalities (e.g., Swiss Financial Mechanism, etc.) and also for business (e.g., International Visegrad Fund, Fund for the Support of the Arts, etc.).
Additionally, Martin offers training for clients on various economic topics.
Ing. Lucia Palkechová, PhD.
Assistant of Statutory Auditor
Lucia completed her doctoral studies in the Economics and Business Management program in 2015.
She graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, where she also obtained a complementary pedagogical study and teaching qualification.
Since 2015, she worked as an assistant auditor at Rödl & Partner Audit, s.r.o., and later in 2019, she moved to the position of Senior Auditor at VGD SLOVAKIA s.r.o. Since 2020, she has been part of our team.
Lucia gained experience in the following areas:
• Audit and verification of individual financial statements prepared according to Slovak accounting regulations and international accounting standards.
• Audit of group financial packages prepared according to German regulations and IFRS.
• Other auditing and assurance services, due diligence.
• Verification of the setup and efficient functioning of internal control environments, financial analyses.
• Economic and accounting consulting.
Lucia implemented these projects in medium-sized and large companies operating in the automotive, engineering, agricultural, construction, pharmaceutical industries, as well as in trade and services.
She is determinedly preparing for the statutory auditor exams."
Ing. Milan Drenina
Assistant of Statutory Auditor
Milan completed his engineering studies at the Faculty of National Economy at the University of Economics in Bratislava in 2013, specializing in Taxation and Tax Advisory. From 2013, he worked as an assistant auditor at MANDAT AUDIT, s.r.o., until he joined our team in 2021.
Milan has participated in dozens of statutory audits and later led his own audit team. He has experience working with medium-sized and large companies in the automotive, engineering, construction, pharmaceutical, and energy-heat industries, as well as in trade and services.
In 2021, Milan successfully completed the certified educational project "Audit in Municipalities."
Currently, he is diligently working towards successfully passing the auditor exams.
Ing. Miriam Benkovičová, FCCA
Assistant of Statutory Auditor
Miriam graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava in 2008, specializing in Banking. During her studies, she worked in the finance department at Accenture Slovakia. In 2008 she joined Ernst & Young Slovakia as an Audit Assistant, subsequently serving as an Audit Senior from 2009 to 2011. She specialized primarily in auditing banks, insurance companies, pension management companies and other financial institutions reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”), while also gaining experience in leading smaller audit teams.
From 2011 to 2015, she worked at VÚB Bank, where she prepared individual and consolidated financial statements of the Bank and the VÚB Group under IFRS. She implemented ECB reporting (FINREP) and participated in the preparation of the Annual Report and execution of other regular and ad-hoc reporting activities.
Following her maternity and parental leaves, she returned to Erst and Young Slovakia in 2024 as a Senior Consultant. She was involved in various activities in the area of accounting advisory services, including training activities, assistance with IFRS consolidations and the preparation of accounting memoranda for companies in both financial and manufacturing sectors.
She joined our team in April 2026. In 2014, Miriam earned the internationally recognized ACCA qualification for accounting, finance and audit professionals.
